You can say politics is a dirty game, but political campaigns are fun to make. Specially when you book an ad in Humo. Two ads.
Open Vld are very serious about their “new start”. The fresh Alexander De Croo embodies the new political style of his party, by challenging everyone to communicate different, talking French, telling the truth, like it or not.
In the first ad, you saw his face and a line saying: ‘Say what you want about us.’ with an open invitation to go to zegwatjewil.be, where you could write or draw your opinion directly on his face. For the second ad, we published the results in Humo. Especially the less political correct ones. The earlier headline got a little appendix: ‘Say what you want about us. We do keep our promises.”
In total, we got about 1700 reactions. We just removed the shallow nazistic terms and ended up with some 1581 contributions. Not too bad for a liberal party advertising in an independent and very critical magazine like Humo.

After a six years collaboration with Saatchi and Publicis Group, Jan Cordemans, CEO and co-creative partner, has decided by mutual agreement to leave the network. Jan created the company Quattro in 1991 together with Marc Michils, Jan Van den Bergh and Walter Dermul and established the merger between Quattro and Saatchi.
Both Jan and Marc have surrounded themselves with a new management that now runs the daily management of the company under the supervision of Marc Michils. Jan is and remains creative at heart, with his career as Creative Director and musician as proof and will carry on with the same energy and devotion in all future projects he enthusiasts.

With 9 shortlists, most of us were at the Gala for the CCB (Creative Club Belgium) last Friday looking all pretty and psyched about what we were going to win. And here are the results:
Silver in “Integrated”, Silver in “Best use of mixed media” and Bronze in “Best use of newspapers” for last year’s ‘Dare to Think‘ campaign for the University of Ghent. Next to those, we can put a Bronze in Press (Travel, Travel, Transport & tourism, Entertainment & leisure) for the campaign we made for the CCB. Check out the rest of the winners.
So 2 Silver, 2 Bronze, not bad, not bad at all. We celebrated, we partied, we partied some more, but today we’re all back at our desks working to do even better next year. See you next year!
