A new campaign on litter? Litter on a new campaign!!

Bottles, cans, papers and cigarette stubs, along the road, on a parking lot, in a station or at the bus stop: no one even notices anymore.
But litter doesn’t only ruin our views, it creates an uneasy environment and cleaning it up costs a fortune.

The Flemish Government and private companies together have been battling against litter since 2006. The new campaign by Fost Plus is aimed at the mobile Flemish, the biggest litterer.
The campaign wants to blight the Flemish’s vision, just as litter blights the landscape. City plans are covered with litter in all the big Flemish towns.

In magazines and newspapers many ads, with absolutely wonderful promotions and incredible services have been made unreadable by a big pile of litter spreadover the top. Watch the whole collection of print ads on our flickr page.

In radio the message is also mired by litter, and sometimes in between other advertisers messages. Litter is everywhere. Even the underwater damsels in the VT4 identitys before the ad block are swimming in it.

Online, you can’t get a huge sticky chewing gum to let go of your mouse. This campaign also got some help from STUBRU, who during the week of the 29th of September till the 5th of October are having a TRASHWEEK. Filling the airwaves with litter.

Commuters are going to understand just how annoying litter really is by having life-size cigarette stubs and cans, impede them on the way to catch their train.

We’ve made it obvious, “Litter belongs in the trash and nowhere else”. Check out the campaign on www.indevuilbak.be
