It’s been one of the campaigns that has us excited year after year, and the hard work paid of as well. We’re nominated for a long-term Effie for the ‘dare to think’ campaigns we’ve done in the past few years (more about previous campaigns here, here and the new one just below this post), which means we have the bronze in our pockets. Things can only get better though, so come and cheer us on on the 10th of June.
What started out as a campaign to keep up with the growing market turned out to be a great brand platform which lead to fantastic commercial and communication results.
You’ll find no crap about how people who studied here turned out to be geniuses later, no ‘get your info now’, no ‘enlist today’, but a good and honest image campaign which proves that long term strategies can pay off. Not because we repeat the same message year after year using the same colours, lay-out and look ‘n feel (only liars need to be consistent, remember?), but because it’s a strong strategic starting point that’s immediately recognisable, no matter how we dress it up. Most advertising will aim to be as simple and ‘readable’ as possible, whereas this has only one goal: make you think about what you see…
Congrats to all the other nominees as well (Mortierbrigade, Duval Guillaume Brussels, Famous, VVL BBDO, Lowe and their clients, obviously)!
